Professional Finance and Payout Terms
Staging draft · pending legal review · Version 1
1. Scope
These Terms form part of the Klinora Pro Marketplace Agreement.
They govern payout details, professional earnings, platform fees, tips, VAT, invoice records, refunds, adjustments and weekly payouts.
2. Payout details
Klinora uses Stripe Connect or another approved provider to collect and manage payout details.
The Klinora Pro sees simple payout information through Klinora. The provider handles complete bank account details and required identity verification.
Klinora stores only provider identifiers and safe display information where practical.
3. Finance readiness
A Klinora Pro may need approved application status, complete payout details, required provider verification, recorded tax status, accepted Invoice Authorisation and no blocking Finance restriction before paid opportunities or payouts are available.
The professional interface may show Ready, Action needed or Under review rather than internal provider states.
4. Professional earnings
Professional earnings may include:
- Cleaning earnings.
- Products allocation.
- Voluntary tips.
- Verified VAT payable to the Klinora Pro.
- Approved customer cancellation compensation.
- Approved credits or deductions.
An earning is not payable merely because a booking exists or a customer card has been authorised.
The applicable completion, customer collection, dispute and finance conditions must be satisfied.
5. Platform fees
Klinora may charge a platform fee under the commercial price record applicable to the booking.
The fee is shown in the relevant professional finance record and document.
Approved fee wording and accounting treatment: Pending confirmation: accountant and solicitor approved platform fee description
Klinora is not currently UK VAT registered and does not currently add Klinora VAT to the platform fee.
A future Klinora VAT change will apply prospectively after appropriate notice and will not rewrite historical records.
6. Professional VAT
Base cleaning prices are exclusive of VAT.
A Klinora Pro cannot charge VAT through Klinora unless the VAT registration has been verified.
The Klinora Pro must provide accurate VAT information and report changes promptly.
Verified VAT applies only to future eligible transactions from the approved effective date and is shown separately.
The Klinora Pro remains responsible for VAT returns and advice.
7. Tips
Tips are voluntary and separate from the cleaning service payment.
One hundred percent of a successfully collected tip is credited to the Klinora Pro.
Klinora applies no platform commission to tips.
8. Weekly payout schedule
The approved initial cycle covers eligible earnings from Friday through Thursday, considered for processing on the following Monday.
Monday is the processing day and not a promise that money will arrive in the bank on Monday.
Provider and banking times may affect arrival.
No Klinora minimum payout applies in the initial version beyond provider restrictions.
Instant payouts are not included.
9. Transfer and payout status
A provider transfer to a connected account is not the same as an external bank payout.
Klinora describes a payout as paid only where the authoritative external payout state confirms payment.
A payout may be scheduled, processing, on the way, paid, failed, returned, cancelled, held or action required.
10. Refunds and adjustments
A customer refund does not automatically create a Klinora Pro deduction.
Klinora reviews responsibility and evidence.
Where the Klinora Pro has already been paid and their input is required, they may choose no contribution, 25 percent, 50 percent, 100 percent, another amount, or dispute with an explanation.
The response is not an automatic debit.
An approved Klinora Pro responsibility amount is recorded as a transparent future ledger adjustment. Klinora does not silently debit the Klinora Pro's bank account.
A Klinora goodwill refund is not automatically charged to the Klinora Pro.
11. Holds, failed and returned payouts
Klinora may hold an earning or payout where reasonably necessary for payment failure, refund review, fraud, legal duty, provider restriction, verification or a genuine Finance issue.
If a payout fails or is returned, the underlying valid earning is not lost. The Klinora Pro may need to update payout details or complete verification.
12. Documents
The Klinora Pro may receive:
- Customer service invoices generated on their behalf.
- Klinora platform fee documents.
- Payout advice.
- Earnings statements.
- VAT information where applicable.
A payout advice is not proof of bank arrival unless the payout state is paid.
13. Tax responsibility
The Klinora Pro is responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, VAT, registrations and records.
Klinora does not provide personal tax advice.
14. Changes and contact
Material changes will be communicated and may require renewed acceptance.
Historical price, fee, VAT and payout records remain tied to the applicable version.
